Clarinet and Bass Clarinet Masterclass

Looking to bring your All-State audition etudes to the next level? Looking for new ideas on music, auditioning and practice tips? This class is for you!

About the Masterclass

Get to the next level in your all-region performance to gain the edge you need to succeed! This masterclass is intended to give you new tools and tips for success in your next audition and beyond. Performers will be performing in front of the class in an authentic live experience as they would experience in an audition.

Plan on bringing your instrument regardless if you are participating as a soloist. Late arrival / early departure is OK. Space is VERY limited for performers. Auditor versus performers: Performers will play a selection of one etude for the class and receive a “public” lesson of 15 minutes by Dr. O’Meara. Auditors will occasionally have the opportunity to play when everyone plays, but do not play in front of the group by themselves. Most participants will be auditors, performers spots are very limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants get to perform when the clinician has everyone play.
